The common life expectancy for a maintenance kit (fuser assembly) is 100,000 prints for small- to medium-sized laser printers. Most large and/or advanced printers will automatically signal when the maintenance kit needs to be replaced by flashing “User Maintenance” about every 200,000 prints.
