Smart Scanning and Custom Solutions |
Smart Scanning capabilities are developing at a rapid rate within the Kyocera/Copystar line of MFPs because of HYPAS.
Education workflow is being improved nationwide with the use of a new operating system called HyPAS (Hybrid Platform for Advanced Solutions). HyPAS uses Java programming language to customize applications to run directly from your MFP screen. For example, a teacher can walk up to the MFP and request a test answer page (any number of answers) for a list of created test questions. The MFP is capable of printing the right number of answers and answer pages, intelligently scanning the key answer page, and printing out the number of tests to be taken. After students have taken the test, the MFP can intelligently scan, grade and correct the student tests. The teacher can then print out graded and corrected tests to hand out to students. If the teacher wishes to scan and archive the completed tests to the network, that task is easily accomplished with the push of a button.
This results in huge productivity for schools and training centers!
